YOUNGSTERS from Walton Nursey School in Nelson had the chance to meet Father Christmas at a festive party.
The children visited Nelson and Colne College and met staff and students in the childcare department.
They took part in seasonal activities, played traditional party games such as ‘pass the parcel’.
Lots of Nelson and Colne College childcare students have work placements at the Walton Lane nursery and put their skills in practice.
A college spokesman said: “Hosting Christmas parties is just a way of showing our gratitude.
“We hope the children enjoyed themselves and had as much fun as we did.”
