AN update on the latest progress with the campaign to restore a direct rail link between East Lancashire and North Yorkshire will be shared next month.
The annual general meeting of SELRAP (Skipton East Lancashire Rail Partnership) has been scheduled for Monday, March 20, from 7pm, at the Lesser Municipal Hall in Albert Road, Colne.
Jane Wood, SELRAP media officer, said: “This is a chance for supporters of this campaign and those interested in joining to come along and hear about recent progress to re-open the Skipton to Colne line.
“The group is also pleased to announce that the guest speaker at the event will be Rob Warnes who is performance and planning director for Arriva Northern.”
The meeting has been rearranged from March 13.
