Electricity North West are dealing with the incident
More than 200 houses in Colne have lost power due to a high voltage cable fault.
The problem occurred at around 2.30pm and Electricity North West were then notified by residents of Wycoller View that they had lost power.
The provider has said that the issue has affected 211 properties in the BB8 area of the town.
Engineers are now on site trying to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
