A MAN from Colne is wanted by police on prison recall after breaching his licence conditions.

Christopher Horsfall, 22, previously of North Valley Road, was originally convicted of two counts of battery and two counts of harassment at Burnley Crown Court.

He was sentenced to five months and 12 months consecutively, along with another year to run concurrently in April this year.

Lancashire Police are appealing for help to trace him.

He is described as slim, 5ft 7ins with short, blond hair.

DI Neil Marr from the East Division Offender Management Unit said: "Horsfall should have returned to his bail hostel on Friday and in failing to do so, he has breached his licence conditions.

"He is known to have connections to the east of the county, so he could be in the Colne, Nelson or Burnley areas.

"I would advise the public not to approach him if they see him but to contact the police.

"I am urging anyone who knows of Horsfall's whereabouts to contact us and similarly, if he is reading this appeal himself, I would say to hand yourself into the police rather than evading us and making the situation worse for yourself."

Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting incident reference 766 of 27 December 2014.

Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
