A 28-YEAR-OLD man was stabbed several times during a fight between a group of men in Brierfield.
Police said a fight broke out between a number of Asian men in Halifax Road, near to the Oasis off license, around 6.30pm on Thursday night.
The man is currently in a stable condition in hospital. A 42-year-old man also received facial injuries.
Four men aged 26, 32, 39 and 40, all from the Pendle area, were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and are currently in custody being questioned by detectives.
Detective Chief Inspector Paul Withers said: “This was a particularly nasty and violent incident and I would urge anyone with any information to come forward and contact police.”
