A MAN has been arrested for allegedly making threats with a sword.
Police were called to Railway Street, Brierfield, at around 6pm yesterday following reports a man had been threatened with a sword.
A police spokesman said the victim was approached by a man who allegedly showed the man the weapon and made threats. The victim was not injured during the incident.

Police attended the scene and a 42-year-old man from Brierfield was arrested nearby on suspicion of public order affray.
He remains in custody this morning.
