VANDALS: Heyhead Park in Brierfield
POLICE are hunting four teenagers over an incident in which a car was driven through a park, vandalised and then abandoned.
Officers said the incident involving a Volkswagen Golf happened in Heyhead Park in Brierfield at around 9pm on Tuesday. No arrests have been made.

PC Hayden said: “Prior to police attendance the youths smashed up the vehicle and ran off and even took the registration plates possibly believing that we wouldn’t be able to identify the car. It wasn’t insured, taxed, didn’t have a valid MOT.”
