PLANS to transform a hairdressers into a fast food takeaway moved a step closer after an appeal inspector gave the scheme the thumbs up.
Councillors rejected the blueprints due to concerns about parking provisions in Gisburn Road, Barrowford, where the building is located.
Following an appeal by the applicant, an inspector said there was “adequate” parking and that she did not expect traffic congestion from the scheme.
