TWO friends have announced the details of a head to head challenge they will be taking part in as part of their year long fundraising efforts.

Josh Hindle, 26, from Barrowford, and David Smith, 31, from Nelson, have been completing random challenges together each month of the year to raise money for Pendleside Hospice.

However the pair will be going head to head in a challenge to raise money for the charity later this month.

The two will be testing their stomachs as they battle in an 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!' style challenge.

It will involve them eating a variety of internal organs from animals.

Mr Smith said: "The offal challenge will test how strong our stomachs are and can we resist the temptation of having our favourite meal instead of the offal provided. "

The head to head will take place at the Ace Centre in Nelson on Sunday, November 19.

At the end of last month the pair completed their latest monthly challenge, a 24 hour sing-a-thon at Tesco in Burnley to take their fundraising to around the £5,000 mark.
