A COFFEE morning for charity, to be held on Saturday, has already raised £1,000 — before a cup has even been served.
Lisa Cowgill, of Ingham Street, Barrowford, who suffers from Chiari malformation of the brain, has highlighted the event on social network sites and money has been sent in from all parts of the country.
It will take place at St Thomas’s Church in Wheatley Lane, Barrowford, this Saturday from 1pm.
