LADIES are being encouraged to get their boots on for a weekly kickabout with the new Barrowford Celtic FC team for women.
The sessions will be held at the Bullholme Playing Fields on Saturdays at 10.30am.
A spokeswoman for the club said: “If you want to learn to play football, improve your skills, or play in a women's league then come and join us.
“We are a group of ladies of varying ages and abilities who come together to play football, improve our skills, keep fit and enjoy it at the same time.
“We would like to develop the women’s football at Barrowford Celtic FC.
“All ladies of any age are welcome to come to training sessions whether you have played before or not.”
The first session is free and are £2 per meet after that.
