A POPULAR charity cricket tournament in memory of young woman Rachel Husband who died from a brain tumour is looking for more entrants.
The inaugural fancy dress contest, to be held on Sunday August 25, will see teams compete in instant knockout matches to raise money for Pendleside Hospice.
The event at Barrowford Cricket Club will start at noon and costs £20 per team to enter.
Cakes made by Becky’s Cake Boutique will also be available.
Rachel, from Brierfield, first became ill in October 2008, after initially complaining of headaches.
She eventually lost her battle for life in July 2009.
The competition has had the support of Rachel’s parents, Simon and Cheryl, and brothers Pete, Andrew and Daniel.
