LATE arrival Horacio Agulla hopes his experiences with Argentina in the new Rugby Championship can help him make an impact at the Rec.

Summer signing Agulla finally arrived at his new club last week, his arrival delayed by his involvement for the Pumas in the revamped southern hemisphere tournament with New Zealand, South Africa and Australia.

The former Leicester wing, who hopes to feature against Exeter tomorrow, had a run-out for Bath United against London Welsh on Monday.

He told the Wiltshire Times: “Hopefully I can put everything I’ve learned and experience towards helping Bath.

“The guys have been really supportive and it’s great to be a part of this team.’’ Agulla, who turned 28 earlier this week, has 48 caps for his country and played 33 Premiership games during his two-year spell at Welford Road.

Meanwhile, Bath loosehead prop Paul James has been named in the 35-man Wales squad for the autumn internationals.
