Drunken man arrested after threatening to jump from Barnoldswick canal bridge

A DRUNKEN man was arrested after threatening to jump from a canal bridge.

The 33-year-old was on the wrong side of the bridge near Rolls Royce in Barnoldswick when police arrived at 6.55pm yesterday.

Officers found that he was drunk and when he finally came down at 7.15pm the man, from Barnoldswick, was arrested for being drunk and disorderly in a public place.
