Colne accident boy on way home

A SIX-YEAR-OLD injured in a collision with a van in Cog Lane, Burnley, is set to be released from hospital today.
The younger suffered serious head injuries when he was struck at 1.45pm on Friday and he was taken to Manchester Children’s Hospital.
But a police spokesman said he had made good progress and would now be sent home.
