Woman rescued from car after collision in Colne

A WOMAN has had to be rescued from her vehicle after she was involved in a collision in Colne this morning.
The incident, involving two cars and a transit van, happened at around 7.20, in Byron Road, between the Skipton Road roundabout and Rutland Street.
Cutting equipment was used to free the woman and she has been taken to hospital.
The road has been closed in both directions and motorists are experiencing delays.
