MOTORISTS faced traffic chaos on the Lancashire and Yorkshire border this afternoon after a lorry overturned near a popular pub.
Police say a 35-ton lorry travelling along the A56 through Earby, shed its load of paper near the Punch Bowl Hotel just before 3pm.
Road restrictions were put in place along Skipton Road and the blockage was not expected to be cleared up for three hours.
The lorry was eventually removed from the scene around 5pm but delays continued while leftover paper was cleared away.
