AN appeal has been launched by police looking to speak to two people in connection with a handbag theft.
Officers said at around 10.30am on Wednesday, April 11, a 55-year-old woman had her handbag stolen while at Fulton Foods in Colne.
Police said she was approached by a man and a woman, who waited for her to turn her back before taking the handbag and leaving the store.
Following CCTV enquiries, police would like to speak to this man, pictured.
PC Tariq Sharif, of Colne Police, said: “An investigation is underway following a Theft in Colne.
“We appreciate the pictures are not the best quality but If you recognise the man or woman in the pictures, please call police immediately."
