Carr Road, Nelson
FIREFIGHTERS battled a fire involving a portable heater.
Fire crews were called to an office in Carr Road, Nelson shortly before 2pm.
A fire service spokesman said two fire engines from Burnley and one from Nelson attended a fire
No injuries were reported and firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire.
A fire service spokesman said: "The heater was totally destroyed by the fire.
"A fire fighter went in and removed it from the building.
"The premises had been evacuated before we arrived."
