POLICE are appealing for help in finding a woman missing from Blackburn.
Officers said Mariyam Hussain, 18, was last seen in the town around 6pm on January 4. She has links to Blackburn, Brierfield and Nelson.
She is described as Asian, 5ft 5ins tall, of medium build with shoulder length dark brown bushy hair. She was wearing a pink jumper, black skirt, black tights and carrying a dark red handbag at the time of her disappearance.
A police spokesman said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Mariyam’s welfare and urge anyone with information to contact us on 101 quoting log reference 1478 of 5th January.”
