A CHARITY auction has raised more than £2,000 for a hospice.
Farnworth Rose hosted the event at the Bombay Lounge in Barrowford recently and raised £2,034 for the Pendleside Hospice.
Some 90 guests attended the event and ate, drank, danced and donated generously to support the hospice.
Richard Farnworth, director at Farnworth Rose, a firm of solicitors with offices in Barrowford and Nelson, said: “Celebrating our tenth year in business has been a fantastic opportunity to give back to a charity that has helped so many people in the local area.
“When we began our fundraising efforts to celebrate 10 years in business in April 2017, we had set the aim of raising £1,000 for the Pendleside Hospice. To have raised almost £6,000 is thanks to both the hard work of the team and the generosity of local businesses."
