A WEEK of free workshops, drop-ins and seminars aimed at giving businesses a boost is set to return for a sixth year.

Organised by Pendle council and Pendle Vision, this year’s Pendle Business Week will run from Monday, October 16 to Friday, October 20.

The event aims to help existing businesses to grow and make it a reality for people who want to start their own business.

On Wednesday, October 18, Pendle Connects’ Insider Insights session will see five of Pendle’s well-known entrepreneurs share the paths they took to steer their businesses to the success stories they are now.

Other sessions during the week include marketing, business communication, bookkeeping, social media, and how to sell and attract investment.

While people who enjoy walking can join Rachel Kay from lovelocalnetworking and Paul Foster from the Lancashire and Cumbria Federation of Small Businesses.

Ms Kay said: “Our Netwalking session will be a fantastic opportunity to make great business connections and get some fresh air, whilst we take in the beauty of Pendle.”
