A PHOTOGRAPHER has raised more than £2,000 for an animal charity after taking pictures of 75 dog breeds in 75 days.

Professional photographer Phil Hargreaves from Burnley carried out the project to raise money for Pendle Dogs in Need.

The 57-year-old, who runs his own studio in Barrowford, charged dog owners £20 to have their pet photographed in the studio and with the scenery just outside, with all proceeds going to the charity.

In total £2,080 was raised.

Mr Hargreaves, who has four King Charles Cavalier Spaniels, said: “He said: “I think Pendle Dogs in Need does great work and when I thought about doing this I wanted to do it for them.”

The Nelson-based charity provides a home for rescue dogs from across East Lancashire.
