THE deadline for community groups across East Lancashire to bid for £5,000 ends soon.
The Helping Hand Campaign, launched by the food supplier Wall's Pastry, is looking for groups to submit their nominations.
Michael Holton, brand manager for Wall’s Pastry, said: "The standard of nominations has been outstanding, we’re really happy with all the different projects received.
"We’re keen to lend a helping hand to a project that really does need some TLC.
"We’ve received all different kinds of nominations from sports clubs needing new changing rooms to scout huts needing a revamp.
"It certainly won’t be easy for the judges but we still want to hear from the public.
"Whatever your project is, submit it and you could be in with a chance of winning."
The deadline is Monday, July 10, and the winning project, which will be announced the following Monday and will see the renovation program take place over five days.
The winner will also be given a £500 cash prize.
