THE woman filmed apparently romping with a stranger on a Ryanair flight was giving a lap dance, according to friends.

The mystery woman, named in the national media as mum-of-three Tracey Bolton from Colne, was said to be in ‘hiding’.

National newspapers reported the shocking footage, said to show the 39-year-old manager of Lakeview Cafe in Ball Grove Park straddling a man on board an Ibiza-bound flight last week.

In an interview with The Sun, a close friend of Tracey’s, said: “Tracey is mortified that the video is doing the rounds on the internet.”

The pair, who had just met that day, shocked onlookers with their antics, which was caught on a camera phone and went viral.

The friend defended Tracey’s behaviour and insisted she was simply giving a lap-dance and said: “She has gone into hiding as she is getting all sorts of accusations thrown at her.”

The friend added she wasn’t having sex, but admits ‘it looks bad’.

Tracey’s dad Stephen Bolton also told The Sun ‘people have got the wrong side of the story’ in relation to the footage of Thursday’s flight.

The man involved was said to be on a stag trip to the party island, while Tracey was said to be on a hen do.

Ryanair bosses said they are now looking into the matter.

Friend Kirsty Lawton, also of Colne, told The Sun: “Nothing really happened. She did a fully clothed lap-dance for a laugh, no sexy time occurred. The pair of them were being daft and it was all for a laugh.

“They didn’t know one another, as if you would do that with anyone let alone a stranger.”

Ryanair said: “We are looking into this matter.”

“We will not tolerate unruly, disruptive or inappropriate behaviour at any time and any passengers who appear to behave in an unacceptable manner may be liable for further sanctions.”
