OFFICERS have issued a witness appeal after thieves broke into two off-licences and stole cigarettes.
Police said they are linking the incidents on Monday to a break-in at a hairdressers on the same morning.
Sgt Tim Hitchen said the first incident happened at an off-licence in Keighley Road, Colne, at around 1.30am when thieves forced their way into the building and stole £1,000 of cigarettes.
Thieves are then said to have broken into an off-licence in Burnley Road, Brierfield, at 2am and stole a quantity of cigarettes,
A hairdressers in Albion Street, Brierfield, was broken into in the early hours of the morning, but nothing was taken.
No arrests have been made.
