A SIX-YEAR-OLD boy has been airlifted to hospital after being hit by a car in Colne.
The incident happened just before 9am in Craddock Road and involved a Ford Fiesta.
Police said the road was closed until around 9.50am and the boy suffered head injuries.
A spokesman said: “It’s not thought that the injuries to his head are life threatening.
“He was airlifted to hospital for treatment by the North West Air Ambulance.”
