CANCER: Andrew Stephenson, Pendle's MP, at the Children with Cancer UK Precision Medicine Parliamentary Reception
PENDLE MP Andrew Stephenson has called for people to back the Children with Cancer charity.
Mr Stephenson recently attended a parliamentary reception supporting the organisation and learnt about the work that goes into finding a cure for the disease.
Mr Stephenson said: “They fund life-saving research into the causes, prevention and treatment of childhood cancer.
“Over the past 29 years Children with Cancer UK has raised more than £200million and has been able to invest in research that has helped drive up survival rates.
“We need to continue to fund pioneering research into kinder treatments."
