AN appeal has been issued by police after a bag was lost in a Pendle sandwich shop.
Officers say they were told by a man that he had left a small brown leather 'Messenger' bag in the bakery area at Greggs in Nelson's Pendle Rise shopping centre.

But when he came to look for it, the bag had disappeared and staff confirmed that nothing had been handed in.
Police have now released a CCTV still of a woman who may be able to assist with the enquiry, from Tuesday, December 20.
People with information are asked to either e-mail 2264@lancashire.pnn.police.uk or call the constabulary on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference EG1607961.
