A TEENAGER was pulled out of Colne Water by firefighters after getting into difficulties rescuing his dog.
The 15-year-old was taken to the Royal Blackburn Hospital for examination after suffering suspected hypothermia.

Firefighters said they were alerted to a stretch of the river off Knotts Lane just after 3.15pm when the youngster encountered problems getting out of the water.
Watch manager Richard Taylor said: βHe had gone into the water to rescue his dog.
"We managed to pull him out of the water but he was suffering from the effects of cold so he was taken to hospital.β
