THE fire service was called to a blaze at Pendle Wavelengths leisure complex this morning.
Fire crews attended a blaze in the boiler room at around 10am.

The leisure centre was evacuated and it is understood that the fire brigade is still at the site. An ambulance was also been called to the scene.
A statement on Pendle Leisure Trusts Twitter page said: "Due to an incident at Inside Spa/Pendle Wavelengths the facility is closed for the rest of today.
"There are no casualties and all occupants have been evacuated safely to the Community Centre on Leeds Road.
"We would like to reassure everybody that this incident is now under control and we will keep you updated with further information as and when it becomes available."
