WATER bosses say the main road through Barrowford should be reopened by the end of today after a mains burst caused problems over the weekend.
Engineers were called out after a leak was reported at around 6pm on Saturday, outside the White Bear pub.

But diversions in the centre of the village resulted in traffic facing lengthy detours around Colne or through Blacko to reach certain locations across pendle.
Water supplies were restored to most customers on Saturday night, according to United Utilities, and emergency water tankers were drafted in to pump resources into the pipes network to improve pressure.
Repairs to the main were completed at around 4am on Sunday but the leak caused 'considerable damage' to the road and its restoration is expected to be completed later today.
Helen Apps, a United Utilities, official, said: "A number of our teams worked hard over the weekend to get water back on as quickly as possible, and we’re sorry for any inconvenience."
