Matthew Hancock, Minister of State for Skills and Enterprise visited Nelson & Colne College.
He was met by principal Amanda Melton and escorted to the engineering workshop to talk to apprentices and staff and to ‘have a go’ at an engineering task. There was also the opportunity to observe and discuss the College Capital Investment Fund and development of the estate, including improved science and sports facilities.
