A MAN was flown to hospital this afternoon after suffering a head injury at work in Nelson.
The man, believed to be in his 40s, was taken by the air ambulance to Royal Preston Hospital after falling while at work at Farmhouse Biscuits shortly after 1.15pm.
A land ambulance and a rapid response vehicle also attended the scene at the junction of Brook Street and Chapelhouse Road.
The air ambulance landed on the Chapelhouse Road car park.
