A NELSON man who is alleged to have stolen more than £1,200 from an East Lancashire charity is being sought by police.
Steven Magnall, 52, of Bradley View, Nelson, has been charged with eight offences of theft from East Lancashire Into Employment (ELE). But he failed to answer his bail at Burnley Magistrates’ Court and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
The alleged thefts date back to August 2011 and run until April 30 last year, usually involving amounts between £145 and £160. A police spokesman confirmed Magnall had not yet been arrested locally in connection with the warrant.
ELE is a training charity based for people with health difficulties based at Queen Street Mill, Harle Syke, Burnley.
