IT was lights, camera, action for Colne Primet High School pupils, who created their own short film.
The school had been working alongside Rowboy Street Community Interest Company since September, and a group of Year Nine pupils planned, prepared, shot, and produced their own mini movie.
Funding was provided by First Light, a nationwide organisation that gives young people the opportunity to develop new skills through creative, digital and media projects.
Pupils worked with professional script writers, sound and lighting technicians, film producers, directors, and students from the beauty department at Nelson and Colne College. The premier screening of their film, ‘Boxes and Bombshells’, was held on December 4, at the school.
