PENDLE Mayor Asjad Mahmood at the event
PENDLE Mayor Asjad Mahmood lit up Nelson this weekend by switching on the town’s Christmas lights.
Coun Mahmood said he was “honoured” to officially launch this year’s festivities.
Artist David Boultbee also provided thousands of lanterns to light up the skyline.
