Four vans broken into in Barnoldswick

FOUR vans were broken into during a single night in Barnoldswick.
Sgt Kim De Curtis said that thieves had targeted tools during the spree, which took place overnight on Monday, November 12.
The offenders stole a £150 power drill from a van parked in Westfield Road and two battery drill, an electrical tester and three showers valued at £680 from a vehicle on Byron Grove.
A double aluminium ladder was taken from the top of a van on Harrison Street.
Another van, on Blakeley Crescent was damaged but nothing was stolen.
Sgt De Curtis, said: “We’re warning all motorists not to leave their tools or ladders in your van overnight.”

I had to go to Barlic police station around 2 years ago as my car was scratched in Earby and the only way to get them to check CCTV was to report the crime. The first visit resulted in no contact as did the second. Useless.
Small crime to them, but big deal to me!
