Nelson biscuit factory evacuated after light fitting catches fire

A BISCUIT factory was evacuated after an electrical fault caused a light fitting to catch fire.

Fire crews from Nelson were called to Farmhouse Biscuits, in Brook Street, Nelson, at around 9am today.

Staff evacuated the factory premises after the fire alarm sounded, and staff extinguished the fire contained within the light fitting above one of the ovens before crews arrived.

Two fire engines attended the scene and used a ladder and thermal imaging equipment to ensure the fire was completely out.

The damage was contained to the light and surrounding area.

It's all going on in Nelson, from nail bombs to fires in biscuit factories.

This story takes a lot of digesting, even if it is wafer thin. I suspect it could've been as a result of the party ring operating in the area who refuse to accept cookies. The party ring's aren't nice. They like a bit of bourbon while doing a bit of hobnobbing with the Garibaldi family, who are worth a fortune or two.
Rumour has it, the Part Ring had something to do with John McVitie's accident.
