A NUMBER of activities took place at the Springhill Care Home in Accrington to mark Dementia Awareness Week.
Staff and residents helped raise money by holding a sponsored leg wax, a bake off, a 1940s garden party and a Mad Hatter’s tea party.
The events raised a total of £100.
A spokesman said: “This topic is so close to our heart we have been pulling out all the stops to support the Alzheimer’s Society and raise funds for this great cause at the same time.”
