Fair to aid cat rescue centre
CRAFTERS are being encouraged to set up a table at a fund-raising fair.
The event in aid of Moggies Cat Rescue, in Stansfield Street, will take place at Derwent Hall on May 30 from 10am to 2pm.
The charity is independently-run and self-funding. On average, the team rescues and re-homes between 300 and 400 cats and kittens each year.
Its income is solely from fundraising and donations.
