ROSSENDALE MP Jake Berry has warmly welcomed a grants windfall to organisations in the Valley over the past few months.
Since September, the Big Lottery Fund has awarded £55,580 to six projects in his constituency.
That includes £9,990 to a Bacup children’s centre Mr Berry said: “I am really pleased that the Big Lottery Fund is recognising the amazing work done by volunteers in our community. “These grants help fund vital projects that make a massive difference to the lives of people across Rossendale and Darwen.
“Whether it’s getting more people involved in sport or providing exciting learning opportunities for our children.
“I would urge anyone involved in a local organisation that would benefit from funding to get in touch.”
