THE final event of LGBT History Month in East Lancashire will be a free showing of 2014 film Pride on February 28.
The critically-acclaimed film stars Bill Nighy and Imelda Staunton and follows the Lesbians and Gays’ Support the Miners group during the 1984 miners’ strike.
The event at Towneley Hall Museum in Burnley will also feature a question and answer session with Mike Jackson, the group’s founder.
The screening starts atwill be shown on Saturday, February 28, from 1pm.
