A DARWEN school has begun a “staffing restructure” with a number of people on “risk of redundancy” notices.

Michelle Smith, who took over from Janet Grime after she retired last Easter, said: “The school is reviewing its provision, resources and staffing structure to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.”
“We are not anticipating any redundancies.”
