MEMBERS of Great Harwood Women’s Institute were treated to a “very different” talk at a recent meeting.
Preston woman Joanne Halliwell gave an adaption of life as ‘Betsy the Scullery Maid’ at Bank Mill House, in Church Street.
Spokeswoman Sue Courtney said: “Dressed in her attire of the day, Betsy made the scenario come to life and was able to bring it all together with fun and hilarity.”
