Assault is denied
ACCRINGTON man Darren Andrew Owen, 38, of Edleston Street in the town, was sent on bail for trial at Burnley Crown Court when he appeared before Blackburn magistrates.
He pleaded not guilty has denied a charge of assaulting Janine Kenyon causing her actual bodily harm.
