A-LEVELS in modern foreign languages will be marked more fairly from next summer, exams regulator Ofqual has promised. The changes, announced by its boss Glenys Stacey, follow complaints from schools too few students were getting top marks compared with other subjects. Head teachers had branded grading as "unpredictable and inaccurate".
