WORK to resurface the road and pavement in Bridge Street, Rishton, has been completed.
The work was carried out by the county council at the request of local councillor Ken Moss, who lives in the street.
He said: “Due to the way people park on Bridge Street, one side of it had deteriorated considerably through constant use.
“But I’m pleased to say the crew has done an excellent job in repairing it.”
One side of the road has been resurfaced with tarmac, as has the adjacent pavement. Damaged curbing has also been replaced.
