'Surfing' for the over-50's
AGE UK Lancashire is looking to inspire Pendle’s over-50s to become ‘silver surfers’. The charity has arranged for a basic computer course at Nelson Library on Tuesdays from 1.30pm to 3pm, beginning on October 6.
The course runs for four weeks and takes beginners through the use of the keyboard and mouse moving on to basic internet searching. The course costs £8 but places are limited. To enroll, call 01282 442528.
