Military fun at street fair
MILITARY attractions and music have been confirmed for Haslingden Community Street Fair on Monday, September 8.
Organiser John McManus said there will be a cadets’ climbing wall, a six-metre Army vehicle and a tented area demonstrating field and camp craft and radio signalling at the event.
He said: “We have wanted Haslingden and Helmshore Brass Band to take part for some years and now they can. The band will be playing their favourite pieces.”
